Bike Hire
Bikes can be booked via the contacts below and dropped off at the airport or ferry terminal, Lighthouse Visitor Centre, or Bird Observatory
All bikes are fitted with back racks and panniers, and stands, easy adjustable seat height, and helmets are available

Walking
Enjoy the quiet roads, the fresh air, and sometimes fresh, invigorating sea breeze!
See the famous, seaweed-eating North Ronaldsay sheep grazing on the foreshore except during lambing when the ewes are bought inside the dyke to grass.
During migration periods the passing bird population increase in numbers and varieties; rare birds are often spotted on the island during these times.
There are numerous seals colonies around the island, as well as occasional Orca (did you spot the fin in the home page picture?), and even occasionally a walrus
Taxi
There is a taxi service on the island. Generally the taxi is at the airport for arriving air services. However it is always best to book prior to arrival if needed
